Trip Overview

    • Provide access to healthcare in remote villages near the San Andrés continuity clinic.
    • Ensure follow-up care for patients requiring ongoing treatment.
    • Facilitate medical education and cultural exchange for participating students and residents.

Partner Organizations

  • ASSADE – Guatemalan NGO dedicated to health and education for vulnerable communities (Website).

Accommodations & Logistics

  • Housing:
    • Hotel accommodations in Antigua for students and residents.
    • Volunteers responsible for arranging their own housing.
  • Meals:
    • Breakfast and dinner independently arranged by participants.
    • Sack lunches required Monday through Thursday.
  • Transportation:
    • Bus service to surrounding villages from Antigua.
    • Estimated cost: $5–$12 per day.

  • Trip Cost (Excluding Airfare): Expenses to be paid by Attendees during trip.

  • Security Measures: Adherence to local safety protocols and informed decision-making.
