Recognizing Outstanding Service to DOCARE and Global Health Outreach

Applications are now open for the Earnest A. Allaby Award, given annually in recognition of exceptional service to DOCARE International through the promotion of its values, goals, and mission. Nominees may be physicians or non-physicians and are not required to be current members of DOCARE.

The DOCARE Award Selection Committee will review all nominations based on a variety of contributions, including but not limited to:

• Promotion of DOCARE’s mission at the local, national, or international level
• Philanthropic support, including financial contributions or the provision of medical supplies for DOCARE missions
• Exceptional commitment to advancing the values and ideals for which DOCARE stands

Who Can Nominate?

All active DOCARE Members and DOCARE Chapters are invited to submit nominations.

Submission Requirements

Please include the following information in your nomination form:

• Date of Application
• Name & Email of Nominator
• Name & Email of Nominee
• Number of years associated with DOCARE (specific or approximate if unknown)
• Nominee’s contributions to DOCARE (one page maximum)
• Nominee's CV or Resume

Deadline

All nominations must be submitted by Monday, October 27, 2025, 11:59PM EST, for consideration by the Awards Committee and presentation at DOCARE’s Annual Membership Meeting on November 3, 2025.
