This weeklong outreach trip will be to Iquitos, Peru and the nearby Amazon Region seeing both local & indigenous peoples for medical care and services. After four days serving in the city of Iquitos, the group will travel on the Amazon River to provide care to local tribes and villages. Cost: $2,550 per person (double occupancy); $3,050 per person (single occupancy)
Cost of Trip Includes
- 7 nights of accommodations
- 3-star & 4-star hotels with private bathrooms & air conditioning
- Three (3) meals daily (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) from 3/17-3/22/24
- Domestic transportation
- Flights from Lima to Iquitos & from Iquitos to Lima
- Buses & boat transportation
- English-speaking guides for group excursions

- International airfare (i.e. United States to Lima & Lima to United States)
- Airport & international taxation
- Personal expenses (i.e. shopping, gifts, self-chosen excursions or extensions to travel before or after trip timeframe)
- Gratuities for transfers, Guides, servers, meals, etc. on travel days

- Physicians: 14 [6 slots remain]; at this time the following specialties are either required or are in most need: ENT, Wound Care, Diabetic, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Gynecology (2).

Credit Offering
- AOA 1A Lectures: 4-6 hours (pending)
- AOA 1B Teaching: 32 hours
