About the Trip
This recurring service trip provides basic primary care and health education to under-resourced Indigenous communities in Peru and the Amazon region with compassion, trust, and respect, while fostering sustainable relationships and continuity of care.

Dr. Flanders has led teams to this location with Parroquial San Martin de Porres two to three times a year for five years. Rotary International, San Cap provides grant and education support for diabetes care, and Centro de Visión Divino Niño Jesús Iquitos provides consultation for cataracts and eye diseases.
